EMS announces strategic partnership with Wave Control Systems

Both EMS and Wave Control Systems are CICG clients.

Environmental Material Science Inc. (www.ems-inc.ca) (“EMS”) is pleased to announce their strategic partnership with Wave Control Systems Ltd (www.wavecontrol.ca) (“Wave Control”). This partnership gives EMS access to key engineering resources and fabrication of their proprietary technology.

“The cutting-edge equipment we use is a significant market differentiator for EMS and that means we need an engineering and fabrication partner that we can trust. Wave Control has proven to be the right partner, with a close attention to detail and an ability to solve complex engineering problems”, said Steve Siciliano, CEO, EMS Inc. “We are confident in what they can deliver today, and the potential of what they can develop and deliver in the future as our company and technology evolve”.

“Over the two years that we have worked with and provided services for EMS, we have come to greatly respect their scientific knowledge, which is the perfect complement to our in-house engineering skillset. We look forward to collaborating with them for many years to come to develop much needed solutions for the reclamation sector”, commented Trevor Brown, President/GM of Wave Control Systems.

Why relook at existing soil remediation practices?

The industry is worth approximately $170 Billion per annum but has seen limited innovation, resulting in current practices that are time consuming, costly - and ironically, leave a significant carbon footprint. In addition, most practices involve performing assessments at static points in time, thereby limiting the ability to provide real-time visibility on the status of the contaminated soil.

What does EMS technology do?

EMS can evaluate the status of customer sites 24/7/365 by embracing a suite of 3 inter-related technologies driven by the power of data analytics. This unparalleled level of analysis will optimize the soil clean-up strategy and empower decision makers to make timely data-backed decisions. The technology is exceptionally easy to install and designed to be maintenance free. This approach to soil remediation will significantly save time, money, and critically reduce the remediation carbon footprint by 99%.
